Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Vidnab ("Vidnab", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website, mobile app, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run your account and the Service:
- Account information — your name, username, email address, and password (passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text).
- Sign-in with Google, Facebook, or Apple — if you choose social login, we receive your basic profile information, primarily your name and email address, from that provider to create or sign in to your account.
- Content you create — videos, photos, thumbnails, comments, messages, and other content you upload or post.
- Activity data — likes, follows, views, and similar interactions used to operate features such as your feed and notifications.
- Technical data — basic device and log information (such as IP address and browser type) needed for security and to keep the Service working.
2. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
- To operate core features: uploading, viewing, and sharing videos, comments, messaging, notifications, and your profile.
- To personalize your feed and recommendations.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and keep the community safe.
- To respond to your support requests.
3. Google user data
When you sign in with Google, we only request your basic profile and email
(openid, email, profile). We use this data solely to
authenticate you and set up your Vidnab account. Vidnab's use of information received from Google
APIs adheres to the
Google API Services User Data Policy,
including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use it for
advertising.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only:
- Publicly, at your direction — content you post (videos, comments, profile details) is visible to other users as intended by the feature you use.
- With service providers — trusted vendors that host our servers and store media (for example, cloud storage/CDN providers) strictly to run the Service.
- For legal reasons — when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete content or your account, we remove the associated data from the Service, except where we must retain limited information to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
6. Your rights and choices
- You can view and update your profile information in your account settings.
- You can delete your videos, comments, and other content at any time.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at the email below.
- You can disconnect social login at any time from your Google, Facebook, or Apple account settings.
7. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies that are essential to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including hashed passwords and encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
11. Contact us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at basharat801@googlemail.com.
